Best Practices for Generating AI Updates

MetaSpark's AI streamlines reporting by converting data into digestible updates. 🌮

The AI analyzes a board or set of selected tasks then presents the data in plain text, as it might appear in a Word document. Then, you can refine the results with prompts, eliminating the need for manual sorting, extraction, and formatting.

AI updates are great for helping your team break down next steps or for sharing information with external stakeholders.

🤖Analyze this Data with AI

  • Open the board you want to create an update for

  • Click 'Analyze this Data with AI' in the top right corner of your board

    • Clicking the button without selecting any tasks will produce an analysis of the entire board

    • Selecting a set of tasks before clicking the button will produce an analysis of the selected tasks only

🧐Refine the Results

The first results of the AI will reflect the data displayed on the board, converted into a format that enables you to edit through prompts.

Here are a few recommendations for creating a killer update:

  • Ask AI to write the update in a specific format (email, Slack update, bulleted list etc.)

  • Specify who the update is for ( ie. "only include information relevant to the sales team.")

  • Specify what information to include or exclude

  • Ask AI to make projections or recommendations based on the data ( ie. "what tasks should the team prioritize?")

✅ Copy, Paste, Done.

Click 'Copy' to copy the results and paste the update into the body of an email or chat.
